My approach to Yoga is integrated, healing, and dynamic because it serves the body, mind, and spirit. I am an advanced Yoga Practitioner following Patanjali's Yoga and the Essenes, whose origin is lost in pre-history, but the earliest reference to the Essenes is linked to Enoch, then to Buddha, and later to Lord Jesus the Christ. The word Essene comes from the Aramaic word Assaya which means healer. In Egypt, the Essenes were not only the healers of the body, but also of the mind and soul. They lived a healthy lifestyle eating mostly vegetarian sprouted foods and doing Yoga asanas and breathing techniques enabling them to live to very advanced ages. I created YuvaYoga, which integrates many different styles such as Kriya, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Integral, Restorative with a strong emphasis on Pranayama, or breath control, the most important practice of Hatha Yoga. Yuva is the Sanskrit word for Youth but it means much more that just physical age because youthfulness comes from the state of one's mind. One can be old at 20 and young at the age of 90. With the help of Nature and Her elements one can transform their lives and restore their youthful vitality at any age.

Traditionally, Yoga was taught on a one to one basis so the student could receive the maximum benefit from the teachings handed down directly from Master to student. Yuva Yoga is pleased to offer this unique and ancient tradition at an exceptionally reasonable price. You will experience a more dedicated, personalized, and integrated healing approach that will transform, rejuvenate, and heal the mind and body and reverse ageing. The goal is for you to reclaim your birthright of health, happiness, and peace using the following methods:

Hatha Yoga Postures and Pranayama:

Experience increased flexibility, reduced pain with regular asanas that tone, build muscles, cleanse and purify the blood. Breathing techniques or pranayama increase the energy body, cleanse the circulatory system, calm and clears the mind, and balances the left and right hemispheres of the brain eliminating mental disorders and illness.

Ayurveda Consultation:

Discover your personal Ayurvedic constitution based on the Tridosha theory: Pitta (fire and water), Kapha (earth and water) and Vata (air and ether), which govern all the biological, phsysiological, and physiopathological functions of the body, mind, and consciousness.

Each of us is made up of these doshas, but in different ratios which determines our unique constitution. Discover what foods and lifestyle will give you maximum energy and health. Foods have six tastes:  sweet, bitter, pungent, astringent, sour, and salty and these tastes increase or decrease the doshes, which can lead to imbalance and disease.

If one is Kapha one would want to avoid the sweet and salty tastes as this can increase the earth and water element, and therefore, weight; if one is Pitta, one would want to avoid the sour and pungent tastes as this can increase heat in the body, which can cause skin rashes and even ulcers; and if one is Vata, one would want to avoid the bitter and astringent tastes as this can increase the air or wind element and cause dryness, indigestion, and premature ageing.
